OYBABY! is a visual treat, combining stimulating imagery with familiar Hebrew songs, while creating a rich Jewish experience for babies six months and older. The colorful mix of Judaica, toys, puppets, nature, and children is interspersed with lively vignettes that teach Hebrew letters, numbers, and vocabulary. Lead musicians (and sisters) Stephanie Schneiderman, Lisa Schneiderman, and Kim Palumbis create soaring harmonies and soothing melodies on songs Ma Yafeh Hayom, Eli Eli, and Hiney Ma Tov. Other tracks feature solo piano, a spirited group of children singing Dayenu, and a rousing rendition of Cheri Bim Bam. From the jungle-drum infused rhythms of Zum Gali Gali to a swinging jazz rendition of Eitz Chayim, this is one baby video parents (and grandparents) won't mind watching again and again.
